The little book of trees

What is a tree and how does it actually grow? How does a treechange over the course of the seasons and what phases does it gothrough during its entire life? What happens in its crown, trunk orroots if we look closely? Which animals live there and which forestshave developed in the different regions of the world? The Little Book of Trees takes children into the world of thesefasci- nating plants. A small arborology presents different types oftrees and last but not least, the book shows what greatthings you can do with trees (you can climb trees, build a treehousein their crown, or lie in their shade and relax...) and familiarobjects that have their origin from trees (instruments, paperplanes, books...). In the tree quiz on the last double page,children can apply their newly acquired knowledge.
