Poème immédiat, où chaque fragment capte un moment, une scène, une pensée fugitive, il ne marque pas moins le début d'une nouvelle étape dans l'itinéraire du poète. Les images de Palestine d'Olivier Thébaud sont le fruit de six voyages en Cisjordanie et à Gaza durant les trois dernières années. Elles n'illustrent pas le poème, mais le prolongent d'un douloureux témoignage sur le paysage dévasté où il est né.
