Mais en attendant son heure, il fait ses armes chez un auteur de renom, en tant qu'assistant. Malheureusement, cette situation est économiquement précaire et s'il veut pouvoir mettre du beurre dans ses épinards, il est contraint de cumuler un autre boulot : assassin. Dotée d'un style et d'une narration qui rappellent Tetsuya Tsutui ( Reset , Poison City , Duds Hunt , etc.), cette histoire drôle, violente et percutante propose une immersion dans l'univers de l'édition des mangakas et de la précarité du métier. Son graphisme réaliste et particulièrement soigné, ainsi que son rythme soutenu aboutissent à une aventure très maîtrisée. Son auteur, Hiromasa OKUJIMA, sait d'ailleurs parfaitement manier l'art du cliffhanger !
