The First Colors of Paris At the very beginning of the 20th century, the Lumière brothers put the final touch on the first photography process featuring colors. From the revolution of autochromes, there remains a harvest of plaques revealing a world that we are more used to seeing in black and white. Yet colors are everywhere in the Paris of 1900, colonizing facades and animating streets. One century later, reality seems to have taken precedence on fiction and transports us in a dream-like decor–;just like at the cinema!
