The History of Normandy (version anglaise)

You will surely have heard of the Vikings, the “Men of the North” (or Norsemen), from whom beautiful Normandy takes its name. Indeed, the region is so beautiful that it attracts envy, inspires artists and welcomes thousands of holidaymakers. The Allies chose to land on the Normandy beaches during the Second World War and proceeded to liberate France. A turning point in history!Tu as sans doute déjà entendu parler des Vikings. Ces « hommes du Nord » qui donnent leur nom à la belle Normandie. Tellement belle qu’elle attise les convoitises, inspire les artistes, accueille de nombreux vacanciers… Quant aux Alliés, ce sont ses plages qu’ils choisissent pour débarquer et libérer la France lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Un tournant de l’histoire !
