Montgomery (version anglaise)

Montgomery once wrote: “I was the ‘enfant terrible’ of the family, the rebel, and this meant that I learned early on to take responsibility.” No wonder he bent the rules and continued to do things his own way as an adult! Yet “Monty” would become one of the great figures of the Second World War and was awarded numerous military honours...« J’étais l’enfant terrible de la famille, le révolté, et le résultat fut que j’appris de bonne heure à prendre mes responsabilités » écrit un jour Montgomery. Pas étonnant qu’il bouscule les règles et continue à n’en faire qu’à sa tête une fois adulte ! Pourtant « Monty » deviendra une des grandes figures de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et enchaînera les distinctions militaires…
