ARCHITECTURE PATRICK MAUGERÀ l'automne 2018, le Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires fondé par François Taddei et Ariel Lindner s'est installé dans ses nouveaux locaux au 8-10 rue Charles V, dans le quartier du Marais à Paris.Dans le cadre d'une opération mixte orchestrée par la RIVP via sa filiale Hénéo et financée par la Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, les architectes Eddy Vahanian, Patrick Mauger et Daniel Lefèvre, architecte en chef des Monuments Historiques, ont restructuré et agrandi cetensemble immobilier où le pôle d'enseignement et de recherche est associé à une résidence pour les étudiants et les chercheurs. Au coeur du Paris historique, ce hub ouvert sur la ville confirme le rayonnement international du CRI. Il est au croisement de divers enjeux urbains, patrimoniaux, architecturaux, scientifiques et pédagogiques, qui aboutissent à un campus de recherche innovant sur les nouvelles formes d'apprentissage.Avec les architectes du projet, les ingénieurs, l'entreprise GTM Bâtiment et l'équipe du CRI, Christine Desmoulins, journaliste spécialisée en architecture, revient sur la génèse d'un projet atypique.In autumn 2018 the Center for Research and Interdiscipinarity(CRI) founded by François Taddei and Ariel Lindner moved into its new premises at 8-10 rue Charles V in the Marais district of Paris.As part of a mixed-use development run by RIVP via its subsidiary Hénéo and financed by the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, the architects Eddy Vahanian, Patrick Mauger and Daniel Lefèvre, Chief Architect for Historic Monuments, restructured and enlarged this set of buildings where a teaching and research hub is coupled with accommodation for students and researchers. In the heart of historic Paris, this outward-looking hub confirms the global reach of the CRI.
