Il fut un violoniste virtuose, au service du Prince de Savoie-Carignan, et fut surnommé "le dernier Roy des violons" de par sa nomination par le Roi Louis XV de "Roy et Mestre des Menestriers". Ce concerto en ut majeur, datant du milieu du XVIIIe siècle, est construit en 3 mouvements : Allegro, Largo, Allegro.
