Le Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, créé en 2007 par l'architecte et professeur Jana Revedin en partenariat avec la Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine de Paris, récompense chaque année cinq architectes qui partagent l'éthique du développement durable et proposent des expériences nouvelles en milieu urbain comme en zone rurale. Les travaux des lauréats de cette neuvième édition - les architectes Santiago Cirugeda (Espagne), Jan Gehl (Danemark) et Marco Casagrande (Finlande), le groupe Rotor (Belgique) et l'École d'architecture de Talca (Chili) - regroupés ici confirment la mondialisation et la densité du débat sur les rapports entre architecture, ressources et développement. The Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, created in 2007 by the architect and professor Jana Revedin in partnership with the Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine of Paris, rewards every year five architects who share the ethics of sustainable development and propose new experiences in the urban as weil as in the rural areas. The prize-winners' works of this ninth edition - the architects Santiago Cirugeda (Spain), Jan Gehl (Denmark) and Marco Casagrande (Finland), the Rotor Group (Belgium) and Talca's School of Architecture (Chile) - gathered together here confirm the globalization and the density of the debate among architecture, resources and development.
